In connection with the geopark, we highlight cultural and landscape history values related to rocks, geographical phenomena, and surface forms. Such elements and attractions include prehistoric caves, prehistoric fortified settlements and medieval castles, objects of the Bükkalja stone culture, mines and industrial facilities built on mineral resources, and ancient routes that are now monuments to industrial and transport history.
